A post apocalyptic wartorn Earth, where the last living creatures are the near extinct chimeras. Engineered as weapons of war from the bodies of the poor, the women, and the children, the chimeras have both human and animal traits, gifting them with the intelligence of man and strength of beast. As the wealthy hid under shields of screens and steel, the chimeras fought for years on end, not knowing what for- most have died out.
A rat chimera wanders what remains of Asia, meeting a rabbit chimera in her final moments. The rat chimera thinks she is beautiful. He digs into the scorched ground and embraces the rabbit in their grave.
Asia, 12 million years later, on an Earth teeming with vegetation and soil fertile from the corpses of the chimera. Surrounded by flowers and swaying grass, a golden mass of amber begins to crack. From it awakens a rat chimera and a rabbit chimera, perfectly preserved throughout their slumber.
